Lets Start It Off On The Right Foot And Get Everyone Into The Action!
Most company parties begin with a short cocktail hour (Usually 30-60 minutes) followed by dinner. Oftentimes, a short welcoming speech by one of the principals is planned prior to the meal. This is a good way to make everyone feel welcomed and set the tone for the evening. Remember tasteful jokes lighten the air for a crowd not knowing what to expect!!

If you are planning a raffle or prize giveaways, give one or two away at the beginning of your party. Though awards and prizes are typically given out after dinner, a couple before can really get people involved and excited!

Music during this cocktail period can be served up with different types. If it's a holiday party you're planning, a little Christmas music is good, but it's best to go light on this as people usually tire of Christmas music during the season. We can also play light jazz, such Kenny G, Yanni, and other artists. For a good up-tempo change, we usually will play a substantial amount of Big Band and vocalists such as Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr., Nat and Natalie Cole. If you have a specific type of mood you want to create, or a theme to your party, be sure to let us know so we can provide music to enhance that mood or theme. We also have party enhancers and props that we can pass out!

Following the meal, a short program of awards, presentations, acknowledgments or a raffle is often done. If you would like to use our sound system your more than welcome. As a general rule, you should have one of your staff handle any of the personal announcements, recognitions or awards and let our Emcee handle any other duties, such as raffles, games, etc. The more we know about your event, and your company the more we can do for you! Often we can provide accompanying music or sound effects which will make your entire program a huge hit.

After this portion of the evening, we recommend some sort of an 'ice-breaker' activity prior to the dancing. Having done hundreds of parties, our experience has been that guests usually need something to get them up and going after a long time of sitting through dinner and programs.
The best way to ensure a successful event is to make it unique and memorable! Use your knowledge of your staff and your vision of what you want your party to be to decide which of the following activities to choose. We are also open to any other ideas you may have to liven up your party.

Lets Make a Deal Game Show
A fun way to give away prizes is to use the old 'Let's Make a Deal' theme. We will ask your guests to produce an item, such as an expired driver's license or a magnifying glass, and the first person to present it to us gets the prize. If you have the budget, a fun addition to this is to then have some envelopes with varying amounts of cash, and let the contestant trade their prize for the envelope. Sometimes they come out ahead, and sometimes they lose; but it's always fun and gets everybody going!

Air Band With Props
This is one of our best ways to kick-off a party! You will hand-pick ten people from your guest list to participate. These participants must be outgoing, enthusiastic, well-known in the company, and we prefer the highest-ranking people possible. These participants will be called to the front just prior to the dancing. They will be introduced one by one as great musicians to fanfare and adulation. Each will be given an inflatable instrument to play; guitars, saxophones, keyboards and drums. The band will be asked to 'warm-up' by playing a song together. They won't know what they will be playing until they hear the first few notes from our sound system, but once they do, it's wild! Your audience will go crazy watching and clapping along to your band (give it a catchy name). By the end of the song, your entire group will be up on their feet, and most will be on the dance floor. Although we are only five minutes into our dance time, your party will be in full swing! We highly recommend this one. Because it is the surprise that makes this work so well, don't tell the participants.

Awesome Light Show
We have a couple of different lighting packages available for your party. We can provide a simple light show or we also have complete high-end intelligent lighting systems that consisting of smart lights, fog machines, and laser lights as seen in dance clubs. Party Enhancers and Props
Adding specialty party giveaways such as tambourines, maracas, hats, inflatable guitars and saxophones, leis, sunglasses, etc. is a great way to turn your event into a theme party. We also have other popular items, such as foam hats, foam hands, and reindeer antlers.
